Ich muß einfach die Werbetrommel rühren. Mehr oder minder in meiner „Nachbarschaft“ hat Jessica einen neuen Online-Shop für ihre handgefärbten Sockengarne eröffnet. Unter www.schafamdeich.de findet Ihr ihre Garne und ein bischen Zubehör drumherum (KnitPro-Nadeln, Zitron Trekking, Gründl Hot Socks Rainbow). Es ist noch nicht alles perfekt, aber da wird Jessica bestimmt noch dran arbeiten.
Die Bilder, die ich auf Ravelry von ihren Garnen bis jetzt gesehen habe, sind einfach hinreissend: schöne Farbkombinationen, schön abgestimmt, in allen Farben dieser Welt. Da hat jemand ein Gefühl für Farben und Farbgestaltung, das ich nur bewundern kann (*schmunzel* ich habe ein solches Farbgefühl nur für „meine“ Farben). Ich hab‘ schon nachgefragt: Jessica färbt auch auf Wunsch!
I just need to do some advertising today. More or less in my neighbourhood Jessica has opened a shop for her own handpainted sock yarns. You can find it at www.schafamdeich.de. „Schaf am Deich“ means „sheep on the dike“ and explains exactly the landscape of the small peninsula we’re living on: there are banks/dikes everywhere and everywhere are sheep on them. Currently her shop is German only, but I’m sure Jessica will be glad to help if you inquire. She as well offers KnitPicks needles, Zitron Trekking yarns and Gründl Hot Socks Rainbow yarn. It is not yet perfect, but Jessica will be working on that, I’m sure.
You can as well see her yarns on Ravelry. I just fell in love when I saw the first photos: so many beautiful colours in beautiful combinations. She works with all the colours of the world. I’m adoring that, because I do only have such a fine feeling for the colours I love.
